How to write IELTS Task 1
, students usually write down with the help of “Stable” and “Constant”For an instance: -
1)
The
sale was stable/constant at 20% from 1992 to 1995. or
2)
The
sale remained stable/constant at 20% from 1992 to 1995.
Although this sentence is right, yet we will try some
new and advanced words to boost our band score.
For example: -
1)Stagnated 2) Stabilised 3) Levelled out
4)Levelled off
5) Froze 6)
Reached a plateau
7)Plateaued 8) Got struck
Let’s make some sentences:
1)The sale stagnated at 20% from 1992 to 1995.
2) The sale stabilised at 20% from 1992 to
1995.
3) The sale levelled out at 20% from 1992 to
1995.
4) The sale levelled off at 20% from 1992 to
1995.
5) The sale froze at 20% from 1992 to 1995.
6) The sale reached a plateau at 20% from 1992 to 1995.
7) The sale plateaued at 20% from 1992 to 1995.
8) The sale got struck at 20% from 1992 to
1995.
There is another way to say this in noun form like
this:
1)The sale showed stability at 20% from 1992 to
1995.
2) The sale showed stagnation at 20% from 1992
to 1995.
In spite of writing “Showed”, we can write down some other beautiful words, for an instance:
