Writing Task 2: Many people today don’t feel safe either at home or when they are out.
What are the causes? What are the solutions?
It is considered by an ample number of individuals that safety at home as well as outside has become a burgeoning problem nowadays. There are numerous factors which have led to this problem and remedies to solve it which will be explained in upcoming paragraphs.
On the one hand, there are many reasons for having the security problem. Perhaps the major reason is the rise in the crime rate in society. This is because the government has failed to curb the crime which has allowed criminals to breach the law which is raising the difficulties for common people. For instance, it is seen in most countries that even celebrities are not safe and many of them have lost their lives due to criminal activities which have arose many questions about the safety of the public both at their home and outside. If the crime rate will continue to increase like this, it would become the biggest concern for common people to live a happy and prosperous life.
On the other hand, there are several solutions which may help to solve this burning issue such as the governance model should be improved to reduce anti-social acts. The reason for this is that when higher authorities will pay attention to the security of the public by enacting laws against crime by implementing stringent punishments, the miscreants may get frightened and stop committing criminal activities· For example, in the United States, strict punishments are formed for offenders who do not follow the rules which have contributed in the reduction of ill activities. If the government will focus on the model to provide safety to the public, it would not only create a peaceful environment for people but also reduce delinquent acts.
In conclusion, from the aforementioned information, it is crystal that although there are multifarious reasons for not having safe life, many solutions are there to address this great problem. Government should pay more attention to finding appropriate solutions to make their nationals feel safe everywhere in the country.
