The bar chart depicts the proportion of individuals who visited cafes to buy coffee and tea in various cities across Australia during the past four weeks.
Overall, the greatest proportion of people visited cafes and bought instant coffee, while the lowest proportion purchased fresh coffee.
In terms of cafe visits, over 60% of people in Melbourne, Hobart, and Sydney did so. Brisbane's number was a little more than 55%, whereas Adelaide's was 50%. Hobart (54%) and Brisbane (53%) had the greatest rates of instant coffee consumption, followed by Melbourne (48%) and Sydney (46%).
Regarding fresh coffee purchases, more than 40% of consumers did so in Sydney (44% ) and Melbourne (43 per cent). Hobart was the next highest, at (38%), while the percentage of consumers who drank fresh coffee was almost identical to that of Brisbane and Adelaide, at about 34%.
